Tastey Boo-quets & Other Spook-tacular Treats

Halloween cakepops have been the most fun thus far, but I think you can tell from the pictures of these little delights. Cakepops can be arranged in adorable little bouquets for parties, gifts and all those school parties creeping up around the corner.

For the sports lovers out there...

Luke & Leighton ("Tator") have been my best and most creative little cake clients. These are a couple of sports cakes we've cooked up over the last year to celebrate their birthdays.

Cakepops

These cakepops were an addition to a birthday cake at a birthday party. She also ordered extra to take to her son's school for a CLEAN & EASY alternative to cupcakes. Teachers will love you for this!

The BIG 5-0

Did someone say delicious? Because these KEY LIME cupcakes and triple chocolate fudge cakepops were just that at my uncle's 50th birthday party. The pops were rolled or drizzled in an assortment of things (heath bar, powdered sugar, white chocolate, milk chocolate), whatever your heart desires. You can see all the yummy, sugary goodness in the background. It was an all dessert, all night kinda party!

What's the Buzz About?

For my daughter's 4th birthday we chose a Bee theme in honor of Miss B (the birthday girl). The hive cake and bee cake pops (party favor) were a hit. Everyone went home with a double decker bumblebee cakepop (yes, there are 2 yummy pieces there) to finish off the sugar high. How sweet!

Foooore!

Way back when I first started making cakes I baked this up for another 1st birthday party. Each little dimple in the golf ball was put in there by yours truly. A slow process but the detail was fantastic! My husband acted as the golf course landscape architect on this one...and he did a fine job. Yea honey!

Monkey Around Oo Oo, Ah, Ah!

When my nephew turned one I created this little guy for his smash cake. See, I told you there are lots of cute ideas for smashing! I love his googlie eyes!

Wild About Giraffes

This adorable collection was created for another 1st birthday celebration. Smash cakes, like this giraffe, can come in many shapes and sizes. They're an easy way to bring your party theme together and get your guests talking too. It's also nice to add some variety to your dessert options like she did here with cupcakes and a tiered cake. A little something for everyone. The birthday girl was wild about her cake and the guests were too!

Argh Matey!

My nephew celebrated his 5th birthday with a swash buckling pirate bash. This 2 tiered, 2 flavored cake (classic white cake & triple chocolate fudge) was adorned with treasure hunted down by the captain himself!

Rise and Shine Roosters

These sweet baby rooster pops and matching smash cake made quite a stir at the 1st birthday of the cutie in the back of the portrait. Yes, those little roosters are made of cake (and icing) then dipped and decorated to fit your theme! Makes me want to crow!
